One of the key values of the South Texas School of Christian Studies is Multiculturalism. In our context, multiculturalism means that cultural diversity is valued and celebrated. Furthermore, we acknowledge the uniqueness of every human as they are created in God’s image. With this value in mind, SCS is choosing to self-disclose ethnic and gender diversity statistics for full-time staff, faculty, students, and trustees. These statistics are an admission that we have not fully achieved the value of multiculturalism. SCS will strive to reflect diversity in all areas of the organization.
In October 2015, SCS featured the topic “Bridging The Diversity Gap” at the annual Self Symposium. To watch the keynote sessions from the Symposium, please click here.
