Accreditation

South Texas School of Christian Studies holds candidate status with the Association for Biblical Higher Education, 5850 T.G. Lee Blvd., Ste. 130, Orlando, FL 32822; 407.207.0808.  Candidate status is a pre-accreditation status granted to those institutions that meet the ABHE Conditions of Eligibility and that possess such qualities as may provide a basis for achieving accreditation within five years.

 

 Hardin-Simmons University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award the associate, baccalaureate and masters degree.  Logsdon Seminary is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools (10 Summit Park Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15275-1103; phone 412.788.4500; website www.ats.edu). The following degree programs are approved by the Commission on Accrediting: Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Family Ministry, and Doctor of Ministry. These three full degree programs are approved for the main campus in Abilene, TX. Full degree programs for the Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Family Ministry are also approved for the seminary’s extension site in Corpus Christi, TX.
