The Rev. Linn and Betty Self Bible Symposium will convene on September 25-26 at the South Texas School of Christian Studies.
Linn Self served as President of SCS for ten years. His wife, Betty, also served as an administrative assistant at SCS. Linn and Betty retired from SCS in 2005.
The purpose of the symposium is to provide opportunities for students, pastors, clergy, and laity to engage notable biblical scholars and clinicians.

Registration

Regular Registration ($25)
- Regular registration for the 2008 Self Bible Symposium is $25.

Student Registration ($10)
- Student registration for the 2008 Self Bible Symposium is $10 and is open to any student, including students from other institutions.

Paper Presentations
Students and alumni of the South Texas School of Christian Studies were invited to submit papers for presentation at the Self Symposium.
Two seminary students, Suzan Benson and Jordan Doty, will be presenting papers at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, September 25 in Classroom A. In order to facilitate discussion, these papers are available below. In addition, a paper by Kathy Maxwell, to be presented at the national Society of Biblical Literature meeting in November, is also available below.
